Cheahha

Cheahha is constructed of 70 board feet of Ohio cherry from a local lumber mill .  The mill  owner actually cuts the tree in the forest, hauls it home, cuts them into boards, stacks it in the barn and lets it dry for several years.

Cheahha has no stains but is coated with an oil-based polyurethane that highlights the differences in the wood..  He has twenty-two millimeter blue glass eyes and slightly over a pound of imported white Mongolian mare hair.  Cheahha was constructed in December, 2005 and weighs in at 94 lbs.

The color of this type is a natural Cherry.  It darkens slightly with age and the natural graining makes it one of the most beautiful woods available.   Additionally, for the wood worker Cherry is a great wood to work with.  It cuts well (doesn't chip or break) and  is stable (meaning it doesn't warp or shrink).  Furthermore, it fills the room with the scent of freshly picked cherries when you cut it and needs no stain to accentuate it's natural beauty.
